Orders & Customisation 

How do I order a bespoke lampshade or cushion?

To start a custom commission, visit our Bespoke Services page or contact us directly. We work with you to select the perfect fabric, dimensions and finish to suit your interior style. Once details are confirmed, we provide a quote and timeline for your handmade piece.

Can I provide my own fabric for a project?

Yes, we offer a "Use Your Own Fabric" service. If you have a specific textile you’d like transformed into a lampshade or cushion, please contact us for requirements regarding fabric type and quantity.

Do you offer fabric samples?

Yes. We highly recommend ordering fabric swatches before committing to a bespoke order to ensure the colours, patterns and textures match your decor. You can order these via our fabrics, cushions or lampshade sections.

What sizes of lampshades do you offer?

We create lampshades in a variety of shapes (Drum, Empire, Oval) and sizes ranging from 20cm to 40cm in diameter. If you need a specific size not listed on our shop, please get in touch for a custom build.

Are your lampshades compatible with UK and EU fittings?

Yes. Our lampshades come with a standard 40mm European fitting and include a removable 29mm reducer ring, making them compatible with almost all UK and EU lamp bases and ceiling pendants.

How do I clean my Erik & Me products?

For lampshades, we recommend a light dusting with a soft brush or a low-suction vacuum attachment. For cushions, please refer to the specific care label; most of our bespoke covers are dry clean only to preserve the fabric quality.

Shipping & Returns

What is the lead time for handmade items?

As each piece is carefully handcrafted in our UK studio, lead times typically range from 7 to 14 working days. During busy periods, this may extend slightly. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship primarily within the United Kingdom. For international enquiries, please contact us for a bespoke shipping quote.

Can I return a custom-made item?

Because bespoke and made-to-order items are created to your specific requirements, they are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Ready-made items can be returned within 14 days.
