When I was growing up, my mother and grandmother were rarely seen without a project in their hands, whether they were tailoring clothes or stitching soft furnishings. They shared their skills with me & from around the age of 16, I started to grow a passion for sticthing & creating my own designs.

For years, my passion for interiors was a personal one. I’ve always believed that being surrounded by beautiful things changes how you feel. I spent my free time curating my own space with pieces that told a story.

A New Chapter

The path to launching my own business arrived in a moment of unexpected stillness. During the 2020 lockdowns, I found myself away from my usual work and enjoying being back at my sewing table. What started as a way to reconnect with my creative roots quickly grew into something more.

In January 2021, I opened my Etsy shop. It was a leap of faith, driven by the desire to create items that bring that same sense of "home" to others. It is a great professional joy knowing a lampshade I’ve pleated or a cushion I’ve stitched has found its place in your favorite room.

The Heart of the Brand: Erik

People often ask where the name comes from. It belongs to Erik - my handsome, loyal Flat-Coated Retriever who was my constant shadow in my studio.

Though I lost him to cancer in May 2021, his name lives on in every piece I create. He was always by my side as I started this journey and naming the business after him is my way of keeping that companionship alive.
